Our first production was 'Talking To Space Hoppers' 9th to 13th Jan 2007
Sheffield Crucible Studio,it was a great success, audiences loved it and we had a great review in the Independant who said

' Virtuoso piece penetrating and funny as well as rather poignant'

Joanna Swain and I are pleased to announce the formation of our theatre company The Gorgeous North. Based in Sheffield The Gorgeous North aims to tour fun accessible new writing using the northern voice and appealing to a wide audience. Joanna is an actress who's worked for various theatre companies including Hull Truck, Northern Broadsides and Reform. Her numerous TV appearances include Emmerdale, Cold Feet, Brookside and Coronation Street.
Her most notable feature film role is Cheryl in the Full Monty.
